Member Code of Conduct & Liability Release
RTCC LLC, dba Reno-Tahoe Cigar Club, ("Club") is a private, members-only facility designed to provide a comfortable and respectful environment for cigar enthusiasts to relax, socialize, and work. By accessing The Club and its facilities, each member agrees to the following Code of Conduct and Liability Release.
1. Private Club Use. The Club is a private membership organization. Access is limited to approved members and authorized guests. Members agree not to allow unauthorized individuals into the facility and understand that membership privileges may be revoked at the discretion of Club management for violation of Club rules.
2. Respectful Conduct. Members agree to always conduct themselves in a respectful and professional manner. Harassment, disruptive behavior, illegal activity, or conduct that interferes with the enjoyment of the facility by other members will not be tolerated and may result in suspension or termination of membership. No verbal, written or otherwise inferred acts of racism, lewdness or personal attacks are allowed. Please remember, your definition of humor might not be the same as other members.
3. Compliance with Laws. Members agree to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws while using the Club facilities. The Club does not sell cigars, tobacco products, alcohol, or other consumables. Members are responsible for bringing and storing their own cigars and personal items in accordance with Club policies.
4. Facility Care. Members agree to treat the Club facilities, furnishings, equipment, and lockers with care. Members are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their guests. Please be respectful of your fellow members and clean up after yourselves, especially the common areas such as the bathroom and kitchen.
5. Smoking Acknowledgment. Members acknowledge that cigar smoking produces smoke and associated odors and may involve health risks. Members voluntarily choose to enter and remain in a smoking environment and assume all risks associated with exposure to tobacco smoke.
6. Assumption of Risk. Members understand that use of the Club involves inherent risks, including but not limited to exposure to tobacco smoke, use of lounge furniture and equipment, and general premises risks. By entering the Club, members voluntarily assume all risks associated with their use of the facility. Members store items in lockers at their own risk. The Club assumes no liability for contents stored nor assumes any risk in vehicles or contents of vehicles parked in the parking lot.
7. Release of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, each member agrees to release, waive, and hold harmless RTCC LLC its owners, managers, employees, affiliates, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, losses, or expenses arising from or related to the member's use of the Club facilities.
8. Security & Cleanliness. As we are open to members 24/7, you are responsible for ensuring the back door is closed and locked; the front door is locked and lights are turned off, if you are the last person leaving. All members should ensure that ashes are dumped in the metal ash buckets and that you have cleaned up your personal trash.
9. Guests & Pets. Members are responsible for the conduct and actions of any guests they bring to the Club. Guests must comply with all Club policies and may be required to sign a liability waiver before entering the premises. There are no pets (dogs, cats or other) permitted in the club.
10. Membership Privileges. Membership is a privilege, not a right. The Club reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for violation of Club policies (without refund for fees paid), inappropriate conduct, or any activity deemed detrimental to the Club or its members.
